Keith Urban To Headline New Year’s Eve Party In Nashville
Baton Rouge, LA, Nov. 29th, 2016 – Keith Urban is scheduled to headline the Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve party in Nashville, TN, which will continue the growth of this annual and epic celebration.
The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. announced the New Year’s Eve lineup following Keith Urban’s performance that includes Styx, Moon Taxi, A Thousand Horses, Charlie Worsham and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. The range in genres is sure to pack the house, so the event will be moved and, for the first time, be held at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, located at 600 James Robertson Parkway, to ensure accommodations for a larger crowd and provide better security for all attendees.
Urban is clearly eager to kick off the new year in his statement, “I’ve lived here now for 24 years, so I know how Nashvillians know how to throw a party, and every year this one just gets bigger and bigger — so we’ll be bringin’ it.”
Entry to this event is free and doors will open at 4 p.m. on December 31 for all ages. It will last until the 15-foot-tall red music note drops from 145 feet at midnight and food, along with alcoholic beverages for those 21+, will be available at the local food vendors on site.
So, come spend your night and the start of the new year with a music legend in the Country Music Capital of the World!
In 2006, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp created a 501(c)(3) foundation to enhance its programs, providing more education, training, and research benefiting Nashville citizens, the workforce of its hospitality industry, and visitors to Music City. Officially named Music City, Inc., the foundation launched the Music City Walk of Fame project in November 2006.
