2016 Cortana Kiwanis Christmas Parade

The Christmas spirit will be arriving in Downtown Baton Rouge with the 2016 Cortana Kiwanis Christmas Parade.

The Cortana Kiwanis Club of Baton Rouge and Kiwanis Club of Cortana Baton Rouge Foundation, inc.  will be hosting the 66th annual Christmas Parade Downtown on Dec. 10th.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature local marching bands, celebrities, dance troops, non-profit organizations, and local businesses.

The parade will start on River Road and end on Lafayette St. The full map can be found at http://media.wix.com/ugd/ae2751_173c144947de4ef49757feb82069bafc.pdf.

This event is a fundraiser of the Kiwanis Club, which supports groups such as Our Lady of Lake Children’s hospital, Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, Children’s miracle Network, and many more.

Any attendance at the parade can help these groups, but there are more ways you can give your support. Sponsoring a float or marching band, purchasing VIP bleacher tickets, or donating to become a “Friend of Kiwanis.” Your donation may even be tax deductible.

With over 75,000 attendees last year, we hope to beat our record this year!
